International Conference
Consume - Conserve - Communicate
Riga, Latvia
Radisson Hotel Blu Latvija
Friday, June 10, 2022
9:30 - 17:00
About the Conference
Communications has never been as important as it is today. It means we are more connected, and it provides us with an opportunity to share and develop ideas with people from across the globe.
Unfortunately, the new age of communications has also led to the development of issues that have seeped into all areas of our society. Information and views are becoming increasingly polarised. Social media provides individuals and entities a platform to express their thoughts, even though they may not be founded in truth and facts. This sea change in the way we influence one another, combined with the growing pressures on biodiversity and certain conservation actions, presents us with challenges that we must address going forward.
How do we communicate our successes? What types of messaging are most effective? And what can we learn from our allies and from those across the table?
All of this and more will be explored at this international conference in Riga.
We hope to see you all there to join in the insightful discussions we have planned.
